شيوههاى مثبت غير خشن را براى نظم و انضباط در مدرسه معرّفى كنند ، استقبال مىكند . » « 1 » همچنين ، كميتهى حقوق اقتصادى ، اجتماعى و فرهنگى ، با در نظر داشتن مادّهى 10 ميثاق حقوق اقتصادى ، اجتماعى و فرهنگى ، و در برخى از گزارشات نيز بدون اينكه به مادّهى خاصّى اشاره داشته باشد ، حكم كرده است : مجازات و تنبيه بدنى توسط والدين غير مجاز ( ممنوع ) و قابل اعتراض است . « 2 » از اين رو ، اين مطلب را ذيل مادّهى 10 به عنوان منبعى براى ممنوعيّت ضمنى تنبيه و مجازات بدنى كودكان توسط والدين استفاده كردهاند .
